For members of the community Your Local Hub is FREE to use. We want this to be an easily accessible and useful tool for the residents of Horsley, Bookham, Fetcham Ripley and surrounding villages, and we want people to use it regularly.
For businesses Your Local Hub has offered a free 6 month launch period for all businesses (May-Oct 2024). From November 2024, businesses have the option to maintain a free basic listing or pay for an enhanced listing for a small monthly/annual fee of £9.99 per month or £100 when paid annually. The enhanced listing includes features such as branding, imagery, additional details, and contact links to help businesses stand out and attract more customers.

We'll be promoting Your Local Hub through various channels to ensure maximum visibility within the community. Our marketing plan has included local noticeboards, social media platforms, WhatsApp groups, adverts in local publications, storefront displays, and collaborations with schools and community organisations.
We also know that residents are sharing it between themselves to help others. I.e. sharing the platform with family, friends, and neighbours etc.

By providing the service free of charge to the local community we have removed any barriers to them accessing the content.
Since launching on 1st May we have added new categories such as ‘Places To Go’ and ‘Local Events’ providing daily and seasonal inspiration for residents, to keep them returning to the platform again and again.
The content we have on there now is just the beginning and going forward we have lots planned! We’re also very open to feedback and suggestions from the audience about what they’d like to see included. -
Your Local Hub uses technology called a Progressive Web App, this is a type of web application that provides users with an app-like experience directly through a web browser, with no need for downloads or logins.
This means Your Local Hub is extremely user friendly, easy to use, and accessible across different devices and platforms.

We will be able to track the number of clicks to category and subcategories. If you'd like to track clicks to your website and can provide a UTM link we can input that so you can track via your own analytics. We can also include bespoke ‘mailto’ links to track email enquiries.

We recognise that many local businesses operate on limited marketing budgets, which is why we' offered a 6 month free launch period, and we are now offering the subscription fee at an affordable price of just £9.99 per month.
This fee will help to cover the costs of maintaining the platform, supporting businesses, and further marketing efforts.
For those with no marketing budget there is also the option for a free basic listing.
